Robots.txt & sitemap.xml — helper for Vennespresso

Because this site editor cannot publish files at the site root, I've put the exact file contents below so you (or your host) can upload them to the web root. If you’d like, I can also submit the sitemap to Google Search Console after you confirm the files are live.

Files to create (copy exactly)

robots.txt

User-agent: *
Allow: /
Sitemap: https://www.vennespresso.com.au/sitemap.xml

sitemap.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
  <url>
    <loc>https://www.vennespresso.com.au/</loc>
    <lastmod>2026-08-28</lastmod>
    <changefreq>weekly</changefreq>
    <priority>1.00</priority>
  </url>
</urlset>
Important: Save the first file exactly as robots.txt and the second as sitemap.xml (plain text files). They must be placed in the site root (the public web folder) so they are accessible at:
  • https://www.vennespresso.com.au/robots.txt
  • https://www.vennespresso.com.au/sitemap.xml

How to upload — three common options

  1. Hosting Control Panel (cPanel / File Manager)
    • Log in to your hosting control panel.
    • Open File Manager and go to the web root (often named public_html or www).
    • Use Upload → choose the two files and upload them. Ensure names are exactly robots.txt and sitemap.xml.
  2. FTP / SFTP
    • Connect to your server with your FTP/SFTP client using host, username and password.
    • Navigate to the site root folder and upload both files.
  3. Ask your host or IT team

    If you don’t have access, copy the short email below and send it to your host or IT team and they can place the files in the web root for you.

Subject: Please upload robots.txt and sitemap.xml to site root for vennespresso.com.au

Hi,

Please place the following two files in the web root for https://www.vennespresso.com.au so Google Search Console can access them:

1) File name: robots.txt
Contents:
User-agent: *
Allow: /
Sitemap: https://www.vennespresso.com.au/sitemap.xml

2) File name: sitemap.xml
Contents: (XML)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
  <url>
    <loc>https://www.vennespresso.com.au/</loc>
    <lastmod>2026-08-28</lastmod>
    <changefreq>weekly</changefreq>
    <priority>1.00</priority>
  </url>
</urlset>

Once uploaded, please confirm and I will verify the files and submit the sitemap to Google Search Console if needed.

Thanks,
[Your name]

How I can help after upload

Please tell me which option you prefer:

  1. I will create this helper page on your site (done already) so you can copy the contents — then you will send/upload the files to your host.
  2. You want me to open a background job to publish the files directly (this takes longer and requires platform support).

Next step: If you upload the files, reply here once they are live. I will then check both URLs and submit the sitemap to Google Search Console for you.
